Andrée Geulen

Andrée Geulen-Herscovici (6 September 1921 – 31 May 2022) was a Belgian teacher. She was a member of the Belgian Resistance during the German occupation of Belgium during World War II. She was a member of the Comité de Défense des Juifs group. She took part in the rescue of almost 1,000 Jewish children[1] during the Holocaust.

In 1989, Geulen was recognized with the honorific Righteous Among the Nations.

Geulen turned 100 in September 2021.[2] She died on 31 May 2022 in Ixelles, Belgium.[3][4]
