In 2020, complaints were filed to the Vatican accusing Dziuba of hiding cases of sexual abuse by some priests in his diocese. Archbishop Grzegorz Ryś led the investigation and sent the documents to the Vatican. In 2022, the Polish State Commission on Pedophilia reported Dziuba to the prosecutor for failing to inform law enforcement about sexual abuse by a chaplain in 2016.
