Andrés Muschietti (Spanish: [musˈkjeti];[1] born 26 August 1973), usually credited as Andy Muschietti, is an Argentine movie director and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the 2013 horror movie Mama and the It duology starting with It: Chapter One (2017) and the 2019 sequel It: Chapter Two. He also directed the 2023 DC Extended Universe movie The Flash[2] and will direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold DC Universe movie.[3]
