Angelita Castany

Angelita Castany (13 March 1934 – 29 September 2020) was a Cuban-born Mexican actress, dancer and singer. Castany appeared in many movies and telenovelas. She was known for her roles in Por mis pistolas (1968), Infamia (1981), Extraños caminos del amor (1981) and Valentina (1993).

Castany was born in Havana, Cuba. Her career began in 1960 when she moved to Mexico City. She was married to comedian Chabelo. Castany died at a hospital in Mexico City from respiratory failure on 29 September 2020, aged 86.[1] She belongs to the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.
