Anthony Mason (judge)

Sir Anthony Frank Mason AC KBE QC (21 April 1925 – 17 March 2026) was an Australian judge. He was the ninth Chief Justice of Australia, in office from 1987 to 1995. He became a justice of the High Court of Australia in 1972. He was born in Sydney, New South Wales.[1]
Mason turned 100 in April 2025. He died on 17 March 2026, one month before his 101st birthday.[2]
