Arlington is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. In 2010, 473 people lived there.[6]

Arlington was created in 1877.[7] It was named after Arlington, Massachusetts.[8] The first post office in Arlington was created in February 1878.[9]

In 1887, the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway built a railroad from Herington through Arlington to Pratt.[10]

Arlington is at 37°53′47″N 98°10′46″W / 37.89639°N 98.17944°W / 37.89639; -98.17944 (37.896363, -98.179313).[11] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 1.07 square miles (2.77 km2). All of it is land.[1]

The 2010 census says that there were 473 people, 200 households, and 124 families living in Arlington.[2]
