Avi Beker

Avi Beker (1951 – 4 June 2015) was an Israeli writer, statesman, and academic. Beker served as secretary-general of the World Jewish Congress from 2001 to 2003. He was born in Tel Aviv.

Beker died on 4 June 2015 of cancer, aged 64.[1]
