Bata (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈbata]) is a port city in the Litoral province of Equatorial Guinea. It is the largest city in Equatorial Guinea. It lies on the Atlantic Ocean coast of Río Muni. Bata was the capital of Equatorial Guinea.
