The Battle off the coast of Jaffna was a naval battle. It was between the Navy of Sri Lanka and Tamil Tiger. According to Sri Lankan sources, this battle was on 1 November 2008. It was in northern territorial waters of Sri Lanka off Jaffna. This battle was part of the Sri Lankan Civil War.
