Bernie Casey

Bernard Terry Casey (June 8, 1939 – September 19, 2017) was an American actor, poet, and professional football player. He was born in Wyco, West Virginia. He played a version of himself, and other football players turned actors, in Keenen Ivory Wayans's 1988 comedic movie I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. He played a high school teacher in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, released in 1989.[1]

Casey played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1961 through 1966 and for the Los Angeles Rams from 1967 through 1968.

Casey died at a hospital in Los Angeles, California on September 19, 2017 at the age of 78.[2]
