Betoota is a very small town in Queensland, Australia.[1] It is in the Outback, a remote and dry area far from big cities. Betoota is known as one of the smallest towns in Australia.
History
[change | change source]Betoota was once an important stop for travellers and workers in the Outback. It started as a place where people could rest and get supplies when moving through the area. The Betoota Hotel was built in the late 1800s and became a popular meeting point. Over time, the town became smaller as fewer people lived and worked there. Today, Betoota has very few residents, but the hotel is still open.
