William Price Knight (January 20, 1979 – July 8, 2018) was an American professional basketball player. He was born in Los Angeles, California. His last professional stops were in Japan with Hamamatsu, Osaka, Hyogo and Yamagata.[1] Knight helped the Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix to their first bj league title in 2009–10, when he was the league's third-leading scorer, averaging 19.6 points per game.[2]

Knight abused an ex-girlfriend’s nine-year-old daughter and was arrested on June 13, 2018.[3] He was found dead a month later on July 8, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona, aged 39.[4]
