Billy Simpson

William J. "Billy" Simpson (12 December 1929 – 27 January 2017) was a Northern Irish footballer. He played as a centre forward professionally from 1946 to 1961. He played for Linfield, Rangers, Stirling Albion, Partick Thistle, Oxford United and the Northern Ireland national team. He was born in Belfast.

Simpson died on 27 January 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland at the age of 87.[1]
