Blood Work (movie)
Blood Work is a 2002 American mystery thriller movie produced, directed by, and starring Clint Eastwood. The movie co-stars Jeff Daniels, Wanda De Jesús, and Anjelica Huston. It is based on the 1998 novel of the same name by Michael Connelly.

Plot
[change | change source]Terry McCaleb is an FBI agent who has a heart attack while chasing a serial killer. Two years later, he is retired and living on a boat after receiving a heart transplant. A woman named Graciella asks him to investigate the murder of her sister, Gloria. Terry discovers that he is alive only because he received Gloria's heart, so he feels he must find her killer. As he investigates, he realizes the murder was not an accident; it was planned by his old enemy, the "Code Killer." In a shocking twist, Terry finds out that the killer is actually his neighbor, "Buddy" Noone, who murdered Gloria just to provide Terry with a healthy heart so they could continue their "game." After a final battle, Terry saves Graciella and her son, kills Buddy, and finally finds peace with his new life.
