Bluey is an Australian animated children's television series. The 1st episode aired on October 1, 2018. The show's available on ABC Kids in Australia. It's distributed by BBC Children's Productions. In the United States, it's only on Disney Channel.

The show's about a cheerful Australian Cattle Dog called Bluey, with her sister, Bingo and her parents: Bandit and Chilli. The rest of the characters are different species of dog. Nana, Bob, Rad, Stripe, Trixie, Muffin, and Socks are also Heelers. Bluey's friends are all dogs.

The show has a high audience in Australia on television and on online platforms. These include a Logie and International Emmy Award.

All of the children's voices are done by children of the people who make the series.[1] Famous celebrities have also voiced characters, like Anthony Field and Lin-Manuel Miranda.[2]

  • Bluey Heeler is a 7-year-old Blue Heeler puppy. She invents games and pretends to be a grown-up. She's so happy. She loves to play with all of her family and friends.
  • Bingo Heeler is Bluey's 5-year-old sister as a Red Heeler puppy. She hunts bug and plays games.
  • Bandit Heeler (Voiced by David McCormack) is the father of Bluey and Bingo who is an archaeologist. He plays footy.
  • Chilli Heeler (Voiced by Melanie Zanetti) is the mother of Bluey and Bingo. She works part-time in airport security. She plays hockey, listens to music, and plays games with all the girls.

  • Muffin Heeler is Bluey and Bingo's three-year-old cousin. She is also Stripe and Trixie's daughter, Socks' older sister, Radley, Bandit, and Chilli's niece, Bob's granddaughter, and Chris' third oldest granddaughter.
  • Socks Heeler is Bluey and Bingo's one-year-old cousin, and Muffin's sister. She is still learning to walk on two legs and talk. She is also Stripe and Trixie's daughter, Radley, Bandit, and Chilli's niece, Bob's granddaughter, and Chris' youngest granddaughter.
  • Chloe, a Dalmatian who is Bluey's best friend.
  • Lucky, a golden Labrador who is Bluey's next-door neighbour. He loves Sports and playing with his father.
  • Honey, a beagle who is Bluey's friend. She is shy and needs encouragement to fully participate. She knows how to make her friends laugh.
  • Mackenzie, a Border Collie who is Bluey's friend from school, and from New Zealand.
  • Coco, a pink poodle who is Bluey's friend. She is sometimes impatient when playing games.
  • Snickers, a dachshund. He has an interest in science.
  • Judo is a chow chow[3] who is Bluey's friend. She is perky and vain and has a center for attention.
  • Jack, a Jack Russell Terrier with attention deficit issues (ADHD)
  • Rusty, a Red Kelpie from the bush, whose father is in the army. He loves to play cricket.
  • Indy, an Afghan Hound. She is super creative.
  • The Terriers, three Miniature Schnauzer brothers.
  • Uncle Stripe Heeler, Bandit's younger brother and the father of Muffin and Socks. He loves to dance just like his brother Bandit. voiced by Dan Brumm,[4]
  • Aunt Trixie Heeler, Uncle Stripe's wife and the mother of Muffin and Socks. She loves to play hockey with Chilli. voiced by Myf Warhurst[5]
    • Warhurst also voices Indy's Mum, an Afghan Hound who sells organic baked goods at the market.[6]
  • Mrs. Retriever, a Golden Retriever and Bingo's kindergarten teacher. voiced by Ann Kerr[7]
  • Calypso, a Blue Merle Australian Shepherd and Bluey's school teacher. voiced by Megan Washington[5]
  • Pat / Lucky's Dad, a Labrador Retriever and Lucky's father, who lives next door to the Heelers. voiced by Brad Elliot[8]
  • Chris Heeler / Nana, Bandit and Stripe's mother, and grandmother to their children. She never says no to a challenge. voiced by Chris Brumm[9]
  • Bob Heeler, Bandit and Stripe's father, and grandfather to their children. He is also Chris' husband, Radley's father, Chilli and Trixie's father-in-law, and possibly Mary's brother. voiced by Ian McFadyen[10]
  • Sam Simmons voices the younger version of Bob.[8][11]
  • Uncle Rad Heeler, Bandit and Stripe's brother, a cross between a Red and Blue Heeler. He works on an oil rig. He is also Bob's son, Chris' oldest son, Chilli and Trixie's brother-in-law, and Bluey, Bingo, Muffin and Socks' uncle. voiced by Patrick Brammall[12]
