Bob Dearing

Bob M. Dearing (January 26, 1935 – July 30, 2020) was an American politician, educator, and businessman. He was a Democratic member of the Mississippi Senate. He represented the 37th District from 1980 to 2011. In 2011, he was defeated by Republican Melanie Sojourner. He ran for the seat again in 2015, and defeated Sojourner.[1] Dearing was born in Natchez, Mississippi.

Dearing died on July 30, 2020 in Natchez at the age of 85.[2][3]
