Box Car Racer was an American Alternative rock/Post-hardcore band from San Diego, California that were active from 2001 to 2003. Box Car Racer was a side-project for Blink-182 members Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker and lead guitarist of Hazen Street, David Kennedy and touring bassist Anthony Celestino. When they were active they were signed to the record label MCA Records.
