Breaking Away

Breaking Away is a 1979 American comedy drama movie. It was directed by Peter Yates. Actors include: Dennis Christopher, Dennis Quaid, Daniel Stern, Jackie Earle Haley, Paul Dooley, and Barbara Barrie. It was distributed by 20th Century Fox.

The movie was nominated for 5 Oscars in 1980.^[1] It won for Best Original Screenplay. An unsuccessful TV series was made in 1980.
