The British Darts Organisation is a group that organises darts tournaments for amateurs and professionals. It is also called BDO. There are 66 member counties in Britain.

The BDO was founded on 7 January 1973 by Olly Croft. The BDO is a founder member of the World Darts Federation. The BDO organised the first World Professional Darts Championship in 1978.
