Bryan Henderson is an American Wikipedia editor. He is known for changing "comprised of" on the English Wikipedia. On Wikipedia, his user name is "Giraffedata". In February 2015, his edits for changing "comprised of" became national news in the US. Most media coverage liked his edits as a "unique effort for correctness",[1][2][3][4] while others criticized it as being wrong.[5][6][7] By August 2010, Henderson removed all – around 18,000 – occurrences of the term. He continues to monitor new content for instances of "comprised of" and removes them, except when occurring within a quotation. As per Wikipedia logs, he has made over 47,000 edits to the English Wikipedia.[8]

His brother is Robin Henderson. He is older than Bryan. Robin also edits Wikipedia. He changes instances of "based around". He usually chhanges them to "based on".[9]
