Budgie the Little Helicopter

Budgie the Little Helicopter is a British animated children's television programme that was originally aired on CITV from 4 January 1994 to 25 March 1996. It featured several key characters (Budgie, Pippa, Chuck, Lionel and other side characters) who were all either humans or types of aircraft. In each 10-minute episode, the characters would fly around helping those in need. The show was originally based off the book series also authored by the creator of the show (Sarah Ferguson, Duchess Of York) and the show ran for 39 episodes spread across 3 seasons; 13 episodes for each season.

Budgie -The main character of the show/books who had his catchphrase 'Rocketing Rotors!'.[1]

Pippa- A single-engined monoplane shown as Budgie's best friend.[2]

Chuck- A loud, boastful dual rotor Chinook helicopter from the United States.[3]

Lionel- The stern, mustache-bearing senior Lynx helicopter in charge of the airfield.[4]
