C. S. (Buzz) Holling

Crawford Stanley (Buzz) Holling, OC FRSC (December 6, 1930 – August 16, 2019) was an American-born Canadian ecologist. He was an Emeritus Eminent Scholar and Professor in Ecological Sciences at the University of Florida. Holling was one of the co-founders of ecological economics. Holling was born in Theresa, New York. In 2008, he won the Volvo Environment Prize.

Holling died on August 16, 2019 in Nanaimo, British Columbia at the age of 88.[1]
