California State University, Sacramento also known as Sacramento University is a public university in Sacramento, California. The university has about 29,241 students. It was founded in 1947. The current president of the university is Alexander Gonzalez.

Sports[change | edit source]

The men's and women's sports teams of the university are called the Hornets. They have 15 varsity teams, almost all of which compete in the Big Sky Conference. The women's rowing team is a member of Conference USA.
