Result	The Khmer Rouge wins the Cambodian Civil War and the creation of Democratic Kampuchea

The Cambodian Civil War was a five-year war that lasted from 1970 to 1975 and took place in Cambodia. The Khmer Republic was friendly with both South Vietnam and the United States and fought against the Khmer Rouge, who were friendly with both North Vietnam and the Viet Cong. After the war ended in 1975, the Khmer Rouge won the war.
