Camille is a 1936 American romantic drama movie directed by George Cukor and was based on the 1848 novel and 1852 play La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas. It stars Greta Garbo (in her Oscar nominated performance), Robert Taylor, Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Jessie Ralph, Henry Daniell, Rex O'Malley, Lenore Ulric and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
