Carlo Casini (4 March 1935 – 23 March 2020) was an Italian politician. He was a member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 1984 to 1999 and again from 2006 to 2014. He was also a member of Italy's Chamber of Deputies from 1979 to 1994. He was born in Florence.

On 23 March 2020, Casini died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in Rome. He was 85.[1]
