This category contains requests for edits to semi-protected pages. Semi-protected pages cannot be edited by anonymous users and newly registered editors.
To list a page in this category, add the template {{editsemiprotected}} to the talkpage of the protected page, which will produce a notice like this:

This template may only be used when followed by a specific description of the request, that is, specific text that should be removed and a verbatim copy of the text that should replace it. "Please change X" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request must be of the form "please change X to Y". The change may be made by any autoconfirmed user. Remember to replace the {{editsemiprotected}} template with {{tlf|editsemiprotected}} when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. This so that inactive requests don't needlessly fill up the semi-protected edit requests category. You may also wish to use the {{ESp}} template in the response. To request that Category:Wikipedia semi-protected edit requests itself be protected or unprotected, please make a request at requests for page protection. |
