It seems to me that "People in Canada" fits better than "Canadian people",

because there are categories such as Cities in Canada, Provinces in Canada, Rivers in Canada, Territories in Canada and so on.

I found out many categories concerning People in Category:Lists_of_people_by_nationality already.
