A lot of the items in this category have almost nothing to do with words. Things like Governor, Precipitation, Menu, Mixture, Ulcer... They are words, yes, but so are the titles for many articles and to collate all titles that are words would be a rather pointless endeavour, I think. Can we keep this category for articles about words? Like Demonym, Backronym, Anagram, Loanword, etc? Osiris (talk) 04:33, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think one problem is that we don't have a category for Concepts, which leads us to stretch the use of category Words. Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:34, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Let's have a category for concepts, then. But it should have a roughly defined scope as well, because it's quite a vague subject without some sort of guidance. Using the examples I gave above, none of them really seem like they would belong under "Concepts" (if we can call Ulcer a concept, then anything can be called a concept).
