Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (born 2 January 1992) is a Danish Olympic dressage rider.[1] She was at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She was sixth place in the team competition. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she was fourth place.[2][3]
She was competing for Denmark in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. She won a silver medal and was fifth place in the freestyle.[4]
Sports career
[change | change source]Dufour started riding horses when she was five years old. She joined the Danish national dressage team when she was twelve years old. She won many medals at the Danish and European junior and young riders championships.[5]
Personal life
[change | change source]Dufour is married to Rasmine Laudrup. Rasmine Laudrup is the daughter of the retired professional footballer Brian Laudrup.[6] They live on an equestrian estate in Fredensborg north of Copenhagen.[7]
