Cees Broekman

Cees Broekman is a Dutch Paralympic swimmer from Ameide. He represented the Netherlands at international competitions.[1]

He won the gold medal at the 1968 Summer Paralympics in Tel Aviv in the 3x 50 m Medley Relay open event together with John van der Starre (backstroke) and Piet Makkes (freestyle). Broekman swam in the relay the 50 m breaststroke. Individually he finished in the 50 m Breaststroke Special class event fourth; in the 50 m Backstroke Special class event fifth and also competed in the 50 m Freestyle Special class event.[2]

Broekman was secretary of the Historical Society of Ameide and Tienhoven.[3][4]
