Charlie Sanders

Charles Alvin Sanders (August 25, 1946 – July 2, 2015) was an American football player. He played tight end for the Detroit Lions from 1968 to 1977. Sanders was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007. He was born in Richlands, North Carolina.

Sanders died on July 2, 2015 from cancer in Detroit, Michigan, aged 68.[1][2]
