Chicken parmesan is an Italian-American food made out of fried chicken breast which is covered in tomato sauce and cheese.[1] Chicken parmesan was invented in the United States of America by immigrants from Italy. The dish was inspired by eggplant parmesan, a similar food which was made in Italy.[2]
