Chinese New Zealanders

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chinese New Zealanders (Chinese: 纽西兰华人, Yue Chinese: 紐西蘭籍唐人) are Chinese people living in New Zealand. They are the largest group of Asian New Zealanders. Most of them come from either China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore or Malaysia. After Chinese Australians, they are Oceania's second largest Chinese community. They mainly speak Chinese. Most Chinese New Zealanders live in Auckland; as well as (to a lesser extent) Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton.
