Chittoor

Chittoor is a city and district headquarters of the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India.[1] It is the headquarters of the Chittoor mandal and Chittoor revenue division. Telugu is the widely spoken language in this region. The total population of Chittoor city was 353,766 as of the 2011 Census of India.[2]

The total area of the city is 95.97 square kilometres (37.05 square miles).

The main attraction in this city is the Chandragiri Fort.

Nara Chandrababu Naidu was born in Chittoor. He is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the leader of the Telugu Desam Party.
