Christopher "Chris" Gascoyne (born 31 January 1968)[1] is an English actor, who is known for his role as the seventh Peter Barlow in the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2000–2003, 2007–present). Gascoyne has been nominated for several accolades at the British Soap Awards for his portrayal of Peter Barlow.
Early life
[change | change source]Gascoyne was born on 31 January 1968 in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire to Marian and Derrick Gascoyne. He attended Ashfield School, Kirkby in Ashfield.[2] Gascoyne trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.[3]
Personal life
[change | change source]Gascoyne lives in Chorlton, Manchester with his wife, actress Caroline Harding. They have three children.[2]
