Cirò is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Crotone in the Italian region Calabria. It is about 40 kilometres (25 mi) North of Crotone. As of 2004 about 2,467 people lived there. It has an area of 7,105 square kilometres (2,743 sq mi).[3]
