A collegium musicum (plural: collegia musica) is a group of music lovers and musicians. They often come together to perform music. There were many collegia musica in 18th century Germany. They were often not employed by churches or noblemen.

Georg Philipp Telemann created a collegium musicum in Leipzig. Johann Sebastian Bach would later become the leader of this collegium.
