Comic book convention

A comic book convention, often called comic con is an event where people gather to talk about comic books. Fans of comic books will come to comic book conventions to meet other comic book fans, to meet with comic book authors, or to participate in many other activities related to comic books. The first comic book convention was held in 1964, and was called New York Comicon.[1]
