Consumer behaviour or behavior is a study on how consumers behave when they are buying a product.

It includes studying their emotions, lifestyle, and personality and how it affects their buying behaviour.

There are many factors that affect consumer behaviour. These include:

  • Culture - This talks about the general culture or overall culture of a group of people.
  • Social factors - This talks about the behavior and culture of small groups such as their family and friends
  • Personal factors - This talks about their age and what they can afford to buy.
  • Psychological factors - This talks about what they believe in, their motivation and their attitude.
