Coup de Torchon, also known as Clean Slate, is a 1981 French crime movie directed by Bertrand Tavernier and was based on the 1964 novel Pop. 1280 by Jim Thompson. It stars Philippe Noiret, Isabelle Huppert, Jean-Pierre Marielle, Stéphane Audran, Eddy Mitchell, Guy Marchand, Jean Champion and was nominated for an Academy Award in 1982.
