Crimes of the Heart is a 1986 American black comedy-drama movie directed by Bruce Beresford and was based on the 1979 play of the same name by Beth Henley. It stars Sissy Spacek, Diane Keaton, Jessica Lange, Tess Harper, Sam Shepard, Hurd Hatfield and was distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was nominated for 3 Academy Awards in 1987.
