Cristina Gonçlaves (born 15 September 1977) is a boccia player from Portugal.

Early life

When she was 11 months old, she had meningitis.[1] Her meningitis gave her cerebral palsy.[1]

Gonçlaves has been playing boccia since she was 14 years old.

The first Paralympics game Gonçlaves has been in was the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, where she won a gold medal.[2]

Gonçlaves won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing.[3] She was also in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, but she did not win any medals.

Gonçlaves won a bronze medal in the 2016 Summer Paralympics.[3]
