Daniel John Bongino (born December 4, 1974) is an American conservative political commentator, radio show host, author and politician. He was a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer and Secret Service agent before entering politics.

He ran unsuccessfully for Congress as a Republican in 2012, 2014, and 2016.

In September 2020, a tumor was found in his neck.[1] The following month, the tumor was removed and he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.[2]
