Dan Vickerman

Daniel Joseph "Dan" Vickerman (4 June 1979 – 18 February 2017) was an Australian professional rugby union player. He played 63 times for the national team, the Wallabies, between 2002 and 2011. He also played for the New South Wales Waratahs and the Brumbies. He retired in 2012.

Vickerman was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He moved to Australia in the 1990s. He was married and had two children.

Vickerman died on the night of 18 February 2017 in Sydney, at the age of 37.[1] His death was said to be a suicide.[2]
