David Lander (June 22, 1947 – December 4, 2020) was an American actor, comedian, musician and activist. He was born in New York City. Lander was known for his role as Squiggy in the sitcom Laverne & Shirley.

In 1984, Lander was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from the disease on December 4, 2020 at the age of 73.[1][2]
