David Padilla Arancibia (August 13, 1927 – September 25, 2016) was a Bolivian politician and military general. He was the former de facto president of Bolivia. He ruled his country from November 1978[1] to August 1979.[2]

Padilla died in La Paz on 25 September 2016, at the age of 89. [3]
