David Refael ben-Ami (8 October 1950 – 9 October 2020) was an Israeli singer. He was born in Nahalal, Israel. He was known for his 1970 single "Desdemona". Most of his works are written by Matti Caspi. In 2006, he released his album We are for God and our eyes are to God. Many of his songs were political, mainly pro-Israel.

Ben Ami died of COVID-19 on 9 October 2020 at a hospital in Jerusalem, aged 70.[1]
