David Sklansky (December 22, 1947 – March 23, 2026) was an American professional poker player and author. He was known for his mathematical moves during his poker games. He was known for writing The Theory of Poker.[1]

Sklansky died on March 23, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada from congestive heart failure at the age of 78.[2]
