The Detroit Auto Show[1] is an auto show held in Detroit, Michigan every year. The name used before was the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The show has been at the Huntington Place since 1965.[2] It is one of the largest auto shows in North America. It is one of the most important events in the automotive industry.[3][4]

The show is organized by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA). It has been held every year in January recently. It first starts as a black-tie event to donate to local children's groups. This event has industry employees and the media. The show opens to the public for 1–2 weeks after the first event.
